New release Evaluation 6.42

This release note lists the features, improvements and fixes in this version. Release dates per version are published in the Evaluation release schedule.

Improvements

Participation graph not working - EV-447

The Participation page (#/participation-progress) shows a graph of how many participants started an evaluation per day, over a date range you choose. The graph was not drawn at all, even when there was data for the selected period. This has been fixed, and the graph is correctly shown again. The two date fields above it are now also laid out side by side rather than stacked.

Charts should follow the date filter on the Participation, Signed-in users and Participant sessions pages - EV-445

These three admin pages each show a chart above a list, with both driven by the same date range filter. When the date range was changed, the list below was updated but the chart sometimes kept showing the range that was loaded when the page was opened, so the two no longer described the same period. This has been fixed, and the chart is now redrawn together with the list whenever the filter changes.

Continued investment in tooling and quality - EV-445

We’ve updated and improved the tools we use to develop and maintain Evaluation and its services. This includes improvements to our automated quality checks and updates to the underlying technology, making it easier to keep the application reliable.

See the Evaluation manual for configuration guidance.
