New release of Outlook integration

The following was released to the Test environments on 6th of August and will reach Production the 13th of August.

This release improves synchronization performance, reliability, security, and configuration clarity for the Outlook calendar integration.

Improvements

  • Faster handling of reservation changesThe system has been prepared to handle increased concurrency when reservation changes are synchronized with Outlook. This will help busy periods clear more quickly.
  • Steadier syncing for busy Outlook calendarsSynchronization of concurrent requests for the same Outlook user has been improved across the system. This helps keep requests within Outlook’s rate limits, resulting in improved throughput for each Outlook user.
  • User ID removed from the Outlook configurationThe User ID field was no longer used and has therefore been removed from the Outlook configuration.

Fixes

  • Fixed subject length issueSubjects containing certain accented letters, emojis, or other special characters were previously truncated incorrectly. This has now been fixed.

Security

  • Security updateFindings from a security audit have been resolved, and third-party dependencies have been updated to patched versions.
